On April 4th 2019, the province of Saskatchewan updated its occupation in demand list and added 13 new occupation that are in demand in Saskatchewan. This brings the total number of Occupations in demand to 24.
This means that application with 10 years of work experience in any of the listed occupation that score 60 points and above on the Saskatchewan assessment Grid may qualify to apply for Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP). Applicants who qualify are required to have valid Language test Scores and educational credential report.
Applicants who meet all requirements can submit an Expression of Interested (EOI) Account with SINP. Applicants have the option of applying through on of theses categories
Applicants are ranked and the highest ranked candidates will receive invitations to apply for provincial nomination. There is usually at least one draw every month.
Applicants are required to submit a complete application within 60 days from the invitation. Once the application is submitted, average processing time for SINP applications is at about 27-29 weeks.
Applicants nominated with Express Entry Accounts will received additional 600 points once their account is updated and will then receive invitations to apply for PR through the Express entry system.
Applicants nominated through the occupation in demand program will proceed to submit their application to the Federal Government for final approval.
